After completing her studies in Architecture at the Technical University in Delft, she joined ING Group as a management trainee and held various positions in the insurance business at home and abroad. In recent years at Nationale-Nederlanden she was responsible for the private claims company in the Netherlands and Belgium.

Over the past 2 years, Geeke, as General Director of the Centre for Safe Living in Appingedam, has been working as an implementing organisation for the claims settlement and reinforcement tasking in the Groningen gas field on behalf of NAM. Now these activities as of January 1st. fully publicly owned, it has returned to the insurance sector. Again at the intersection of public and private and with the ambition to contribute to the challenges facing our society with insights from the sector.
