Rules around AI in the insurance industry
Van Stiphout, who in his role as adviser on European and International Affairs at the Association is also Disruptive Technology working group chair within the Global Federation of Insurance Associations (GFIA), spoke at the conference about the role of artificial intelligence (AI) in the insurance sector and how different parts of the world are dealing with supervision and regulation of AI applications in the sector.

In addition, various initiatives in the field of data sharing and the use of artificial intelligence for handling claims or detecting fraud were presented during the conference. About the Turkic States
The Turkic States is the Cooperation Council of Turkic States (also known as the Organization of Turkish States, OTS). This is an intergovernmental organisation that was established in 2009 to strengthen economic and political cooperation between countries with Turkic languages and cultures.
The founding members are Azerbaijan, Kazakhstan, Kyrgyzstan and Turkey, later joined Uzbekistan and Turkmenistan, Northern Cyprus and Hungary (as observers). Its headquarters are in Istanbul.
