The terms of the current (vice) chairs of working groups/committees within Insurance Europe expire on 31 December 2023. In recent months, candidates have applied to Insurance Europe to fill the positions afterwards. The Association has proposed three Dutch candidates, all of whom have been confirmed in the Executive Committee. The term is three years. From 1 January 2024 to 31 December 2026.
Richard Weurding: "We are very pleased with this outcome. We have succeeded in having three excellent representatives of the Dutch market take up important international positions. With these three positions, we focus on the European dossiers that are important for our market. And we are represented in three different Insurance Europe work streams. - Bart Janknegt: CEO of VvAA is going for a second term as chairman of the Conduct of Business Committee.
- Bart Frijns: CRO International of NN Group as Vice-Chair of the ECOFIN Committee.
- Erik de Boer: Managing Director Enterprise Risk Management at Univé is going for a second term as Vice-Chair of the Motor Working Group.
