Visit to the Greek Association

Richard Weurding gave a keynote speech in Athens at the invitation of the Hellenic Association of Insurance Companies (Greek Association) on the fight against fraud.

In front of a varied audience, which even included representatives of the Greek police, Richard shared his insights on the impact of insurance fraud, what we as a sector in the Netherlands are doing about it and what future challenges we see.

Cooperation

Richard also spoke about the moral and legal obligation of the insurance sector to take measures to combat insurance fraud. The main message, however, was the importance of cooperation at all levels. Joining forces through public and private partnerships is essential. Without sharing knowledge, experiences and expertise, the fight against insurance crime cannot be waged.
